Abstract

In the article we describe our experience treating a patient with a giant solitary fibrous tumor of the small pelvis. Since the tumor was highly vascularized, the patient underwent preoperative embolization of the vessels perfusing the tumor to reduce the risk of intraoperative blood loss.
